The Rose.....


      Here is a Mixed Media painting I just finished......the quote....."The rose speaks silently, in a language known only to the  heart"  Unknown author.  
     There are 10 layers in this painting. When viewed in real time the many layers are translucent so the multiple layers fuse into one another making a unique synergy of imagery.  Lots of texture as well.  This kind of art is very fun but also time consuming as the layers need to dry in between applications.  Hope you enjoyed seeing what I have been up to in my studio lately.  : }

    Thanks so much for the positive feedback and encouragement! I so need that, its time consuming and takes dedication, not many sales to date, but one never knows when they will be discovered....lol...anyway I do enjoy the process and there in lies the reward. : ]
